Resolved Question: Can I play in a college band without major or minor in music?

I am a french horn/trumpet player in high school looking into colleges as a senior. I have played in many honor bands and orchestras in California: CCS, YMM, All-State (horn) and Monterey Jazz Festival High School All Stars (trumpet). I do not plan, however, on majoring or minoring in music. So I am just wondering, will I be able to join orchestras or bands that my college might offer without declaring a major or minor in music?
