Open Question: What should I draw for my book cover?

So, I just finished reading a book called Clara Rounds Cape Horn, and now I am supposed to create a book jacket for the book. The only thing is, I don't know what to draw on the front of the book! The story is about a girl in the early 1840s who travels on a boat for four months from Boston, Massachusetts, to Monterey Bay, California. She has a little kitten named Murphy, and she learns all about the ship. She sees a lot of different things, including the tip of Cape Horn, the southernmost point of South America.
